INTRODUCTION
Performing elements of strategic planning for, ABC Pty Ltd (ABC), the company I am presently incumbent with. This shall be achieved by developing Vision, Mission and Values statements and explaining their inherent application. Internal and external analyses shall be conducted utilising business tools available and an interpretation of results gleaned to formulate a strategy with an explanation of relevance and fit to ABC.
Considering the overarching company’s Mission, Value and Vision statements, then fathoming down to the business unit of Defence and Government Services (DG&S), collectively called ‘Defence’ in house, to ponder the vision at that SBU level. This will be at the level of where the majority of strategic consideration will be focused. Where due analysis shall be undertaken, and putting forward a version of the business unit statements as a foray leading into a concept of strategy to which could be direction for the ABC to consider.

Comprising of approximately 27,000 employees in over 70 countries, ABC is one of the world's prime engineering, procurement and construction companies. Evolving over century, they are large contributor to the various industry sectors; energy, petrochemicals, government, defence and civil infrastructure.
