Technology and the Internet
Technology has made a great impact in the lives of many individuals in the world today. Technology can simply be explained as a collection of tools that make it easier to use, manage and transfer data and create new innovations, in a faster and convenient way to make life easier and better for man. Over the years there have been series of arguments on the advantage and disadvantages of technology many people have written articles and blogs to critize its harmful effects in the environment and its ways of alienating the world. Some people also say it has made people lazy to reason and rack their brains, and overexposure can lead to internet addiction, depression, sleeplessness and isolation from the public, hacking and computer espionage.
The arguments against the benefit of technology and the internet has overshadowed its disadvantages. In fact throughout the years technology had come a wide way not only to support man but also other animal species as well. Technology is often referred to as consequences of science and engineering. Over ages new and modern methods have been developed through research and development. Here are some specific places on the positive impacts of technology in our everyday lives.
Work place, the use of computers and the internet has become a very common and easier way to work in the office today. It has reduced the formal way of writing down document and information down to type on the typewriter which took a very long time. It has made transfer of information from one desk to the other very easier or one branch to the other much simpler by the use of intranet that is the transfer of data that uses internet protocol technology to share information; operational systems, or computing services within an organization.
