Companies are always looking for ways to improve their products and there customer service. This is done in various ways. Some companies do customer service comment cards on a recent product they have purchased. Another way is by taking a small survey at the end of a call. The customers are randomly selected, the customer service representative is unaware that the customer will be providing feedback at the end of the call and for those customers who purchase products and services on-line, they are asked to provide feedback after the completion of their on-line purchase.
Companies are always looking for ways to introduce a new product or service to the consumer. It is very important for companies to compete with their competitors and in some cases, stay ahead of their competitors. In order for a company to be profitable, they have to ensure they can meet the supply and demands of the consumers. If a company is unable to keep up with current trends, consumers will go elsewhere for there products. To ensure this does not happen, companies look for new products to offer the consumers in hopes of the repeat business and word of mouth business that could potentially be brought to the company.
When a company has a new product they know the consumers are waiting for, they will have commercials on TV, ads will be placed through out the stores, mailers are sent out to the homes all telling of the new product release date and the versions. The company wants the consumer to know what their new product will do, or the upgrades they have made to an existing product they are bring on the market. This is true of such companies as Apple Inc.
