The mountain lion:
Once endangered now a danger
on april as Barbara Schoener was killedby a puncing lion from behind. after an apparent struggle witth the attacker. Schoener was killed by bites to thher neck and to the head. in 1996, because of schoener death and other highly publicized attacks. California polititcians presented voters with proposition 197 was rejected by a large margin. the 1990 outlaw sport hunting of mountain lions and even prevented the department of fish and game from thinnning the lion population.
The once endangered species. To early natice americans mountain lions also known as cougars, pumas, and panthers were objects of reverence. The europoean colonists, however, did not share the native ameircan view. They conducted what Ted williams call anbd all out war on the species. The llions were eliminated from the eastern united states except from the a small population that remiains in Florida.I call my nina babe like San Diego
