It is absolutely a good deed to earn as much money as possible for good causes and for peoples own sake. However, people are inclined to do what they want rather than what is right, so if their singleness of mind is for material wealth, they are more easily attempted to employ illegal ways to do less and earn more in workplace settings, namely corporate crime, in government settings, namely bribe and corruption, and in daily life, namely price tags. These days quite a few people measure value of things solely by money, they stick a mental price tag on almost everything. Should a child unintentionally spill milk on a pristine newly-bought car, how many people would not shout at the child how pricey it is Or should a girl complain when her boyfriend asks her out for dinner in a cheap restaurant As money is such an essential means to comfort and a fulfilling life , people may mistake that the possession of money is the comfort and fulfilment, sacrificing time and love for family and friends to just work and work, even worse, to steal, deceive, ect. How many are there broken families due to the unbalance between work and home Whats more, money is seemingly creating a pressure to work harder, whether people want it or not. As a difference between the rich and the poor is climbing, those not alert may just insanely dive into workload but still short of money while the rich becomes richer. As a result, social problems such as inequality in services, education, or basic needs appear the story goes on and on. As a matter of fact, money is an indispensable part of leading a modern life, which is arguably positive or negative. Nevertheless, as long as we have outright control of money, not vice versa, money is the means to ends.
