Miniature Trade Market will be the website for all Tabletop Miniature Collectors, gamers and hobbyists alike to come and trade their miniatures & games amongst each other instead of paying retail pricing from local stores. There is a desire for such a forum, because the hobby is very exspensive. It typically costs are gamers 50$ to just play a basic game, and usually 400$ to play a real sized game. With the economy falling, people are looking for ways to save money, without sacrificing the game. Users are able to use the forums to post classified ads to barter & trade out their existing miniatures, and request new ones. However this website is not limited to just the trading of these miniature models, but also the discussion of the actual game play itself, and as miniatures as a hobby. Thus, this website would serve the audience on multiple levels, unlike other tabletop miniature websites that exist to this day.
The specific users that this site will be targeting are Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, Warmachine, Hordes, and Flames of War players, because these names are the most common tabletop board games that exist, and they are known and played worldwide. This should typically be for males within the age of 16-40, who have an interest in sci-fi, or strategy games.
The website will be utilizing the vBulletin forum software along sided with modifications & add-ons. It will serve as a community website, new front, trading area, and host discussions. The content will be produced by the forum members either posting their own classified ads or discussion topics.
