Grace is what God gives us that we do not deserve. The most powerful Grace every given was Jesus. He gave us his son so that our sins would be forgiven. He who believes in the Lord should have everlasting life, even if he dies.(Scripture?) Who can ask for a more precious gift?
Mankind has had Grace given to us since the beginning of time. This planet is Grace and so are the animals and plants. Do you ever think about evolution? I will give you my opinion. Scientist can give us data as to how the world evolved into what it is today, but they leave out the most important part, God. God has graced this planet since its beginning. Who is to say that the formation and the evolution of animals are not by God’s Grace? Evolution gives the theory that this, meaning the Earth, mankind, plants and animals, were a mistake. Think about it for a minute. Things just happened to be right to support life and for plants and small cell animals to evolve. What would the odds be that a human as we see each other today, evolving without special help? Look at yourself, a complicated work with the ability to think and act. Was this an accident, I don’t think so. I think it is more of God’s Grace.
I bet the caveman was glad to get fire from the skies. Just imagine walking home after hunting all day with the sprinkle of rain in your face and a tree gets struck by lightning. The lightning causes a grass fire, which scares you and you drop the meat into the brush and run to cover. The fire burns out and you return to find a tender juicy cooked roast. An accident or God’s Grace, I think it was Grace, as was the knowledge to use it later and make tools. God’s Grace was easily seen in the Old Testament. God in the beginning was a hands on God. What I mean by this is the many things that happened in the Old Testament as a direct result of God’s intervention. You read about him giving Sampson the jaw bone of an ass to destroy an army , saving Noah and the Ark and destroying everything else,...
