When it comes to people that continue to do things that are harmful to them the first persons that comes into my mind are the drug addicts. Some of them, or at least, all of them know that the drugs are harmful for them but they continue doing it, with the word drug and referring to illegal and legal drugs such as the cigarette and some other drugs as the marijuana or the cocaine, and I think that the reason why they continue doing it is because they kind of find it as a pleasure even do they know its harmful to them and they get to a point that it becomes a need and they can’t stop doing it. There are also other people that love gambling and they can’t stop doing it once they started they can’t stop gambling until they are broken or kicked out of the place they were at. And they know that it’s harmful maybe not physically but emotionally and also affects if has a family the relationship with his family, they spend more time on the gambling than with his family, but they continue doing it because they find pleasure gambling.
So, basically people know that things they do are harmful to themselves but they feel pleasure...
