Different people have their own point of view about the place where they live and where they want to live, work and entertain.
And i’m sure that not everyone is happy to live where he or she lives now. I think at all times people wanted to settle down in a quiet, clean and sunny place, but nowadays only some of us can say that they enjoy their life in the city or town they live in and can be really proud of it.
As for me I can say that i`m sure i`ll leave my town as soon as possible. There are many reasons for doing that: cold weather that sometimes is really unbearable, polluted air and sea, transport problems, no professional opportunities, no good cultural life.
Frankly speaking I don`t have an idea about some real city that would be ideal in every respect. All that I can do is to offer an image of a livable town or city and its main features.
So I invented a huge city of my dream that took all the best from some cities of the world. And this is what I think about that!
Firstly, it must be located in a very warm place where the climate is mild like in Los Angeles – green trees, palms, the Pacific ocean, sandy beaches, parks, mountains…and no plants and factories! All these things help to keep the environment in a rather healthy state. Trees will be absorbing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. I think people would really enjoy its natural beauty.
Secondly, I want the city center to be really full of life like it is in New York, Paris or Moscow! Lights, cars, foreigners, people of different cultures, religions and nationalities, cafes, clubs, restaurants, exhibitions, art galleries, concert halls, beautiful houses and buildings in different architectural styles… So as you can see, you can always go out, have a good time or to relax well.
There is subway in this city and suburban electric trains because it`s rather eco-friendly. For drivers there must be kilometers of good roads and road junctions that can help to avoid traffic jams. Also there must be...
