A Hispanic View on Money

Have you ever received a huge pay check and after putting it in the bank you just go out and spend it? Many Americans fall into this category. Many Americans throw their money into the bank building up an account balance only to spend it shortly after on something that is not needed or not important. After owning that expensive something for awhile Americans find themselves mistreating, abusing, or not caring for that something. To a Hispanic this hurts because to a Hispanic money is like gold, don’t trust anyone with it, take care of it, keep it in mint condition, and spend it when you need to.
If one was to go to the bank on a Friday he/she might see many Hispanics inside the bank. One can observe that many of the Hispanics inside the bank are not in there to open up an account or to put money into the bank but instead they come into the bank to cash their checks no matter what the amount is. To most Americans this is very odd because most Americans believe in putting their money into a bank account. The reason for this is because Hispanics respect and cherish their money and do not trust anyone with their money that they have worked so hard for. Therefore they go to the bank cash their check and leave putting their money into their pockets. Most Americans can not do such a thing because if the money is in their pocket the nit is gone in a matter of days or even hours. Hispanics on the other hand are able to cherish their money and put it towards good things. Even young kids put their money to good use. Many Hispanic kids work in the fields all day and earn money not for themselves but to help their families out.
When a Hispanic buys something big like a car, it is not always the nicest or the most expensive in an Americans point of view but to them it means the world to them. They will treat that average car like it was a Porsche because to a Hispanic if you spend money on something then you better keep it in mint condition....
