“New Hope or Temporary Fix”

Obama choose “A New Day of Hope” for the theme of his inauguration. Many people took this by saying since he is the first “black president” the minorities have a better standing point in America. Others thought of it as, since Bush messed up things, it is about time that somebody come and save us. Well my perspective is that it was a good title to inspire the Americans that change is finally coming. But what I think is totally different. True enough, Obama might bring the Americans temporary peace and happiness, but can he keep it that way? No matter who is in the presidential state, crime, hunger, and violence will always exist. There is only one person who I can really say will make “the world” not just America, a better place. And that is God.
If I don’t think that change is coming for America then I surely don’t think that anything going to benefit me. I consider my self as low to middle class. My mother is a single parent who works two jobs to support me and my sister. Bills and inflations of almost everything, is always a set back to progressing to a higher class rank. There always help for the single mothers who don’t work, but what about the ones who actually get up every morning and work there 8 to 5 job and need a little help getting stable. So in my mind a man in the White House, who has a pretty good financial status, doesn’t give me any relief of any kind.
Through out life there have been many rulers and governments who influence the world in many different ways. But my question is, has any of that influencing fix problems? Sure, maybe temporary but if they really fix anything then we wouldn’t have to be worrying about elections of “Mr. I think I fix it”.
Basically what I am saying is how can an imperfect person fix or change the world let alone America. So I really don’t have any high hopes that everybody else does about change. We all have flaws and mess up at times so “A New Day of Hope” is better known to me...
