´╗┐The company Widget Wonders has requested a software consultation for their up-and-coming company. This consultation is strictly for consideration and has no mandated purchase request attached to it. The company requires off site mobility programs for at least 50 employees to use with clients as well as the ability to give presentations in sales meetings and conferences. The manufacturing department of 45 employees requires spreadsheet and word processing applications, as well as Internet access. Inventory requires mobile computing as well as database access. Research and development requires graphics as well as computer aided design software. Finally, the MIS department requires the ability to perform administrative tasks. Taking all departments into consideration, the following report is an advisement to fulfill all necessary requirements for these departments.

The major software required by all departments is Microsoft Office, this can narrow costs greatly with the use of Microsoft 365 business premium, the reasoning behind this is the inclusion of many of their products. With the monthly subscription the MIS department will be able to fully install all required Microsoft Office products onto all five of their systems, enabling faster handling of required tasks. The sales, manufacturing, and inventory departments will all have access to online versions of Office including Word, Power point, and Excel, these will allow all presentations, inventories, and database access. All departments will also be able to share data between eachother with the Microsoft Onedrive storage, which is included at 1TB per user, this will create a cloud storage system for the entire company to use and be able to work together and share data.
