Through out this course ive been exposed to new imormation that i had no prior knowledge of, i have a deeper understanding of how ive been developing from an infant all through my adolesents and on the my young adulthood. I can apply this course to my personal life in more ways than one. A way that i can apply is it is through Sternburgs theory of love. This theory open my eyes as far as relationships go. We all know that reltionships arent easy and in order for one to succed and be healthy they need intamacy, passion and most important commitment. The relationship that im currently in has all three aspects, and im as happy as i ever been with this girl and knew it was because i loved her just as much as she loves me, but i didnt truley understand the componets that were causing both of us to be so happy and in such a great relationship and its because of sternburgs theory of love. Another way that i can apply this course to my personal life is through wordens four task of grief. We all live in a crazy world where anything could happen at anytime without warning and thats the harsh reality tha we face every single day. People who are most clost to us can be gone at any moment and time. Ive been fortuate enough not to go through a situation where ive lost someone that was close to me but god forbid if that moment does come up in my life time i have an understanding of how to handle it a little better by knowing the steps that i have to take to lessen the pain and eventually forward with my life. This course can also applied to my career. the reason why it does apply go my career is because it helped me understand who i am as a person, the reasons why i like certain things, the personality traits that ive picked up and the different stages that ive developed through which all goes hand in hand to what im going to chose as a career for the rest of my life.
