Dear Mr. Kane Kwei,
While preparing for my impending death, I am requesting that you design a coffin in my honor. I would like to have a coffin in the shape of a mango. The coffin shell will be made of metal from a Mercedes-Benz, a pillow and body lining made of golden silk, cashmere and Egyptian cotton for the inside and the outside painted the colors of a mango which are red, yellow and orange and the latch will have a 20 carat diamond on it. The process would include obtaining metal from a Mercedes-Benz and shaping it, ordering silk and Egyptian cotton and placing it inside the coffin, and getting high quality acrylic paint to design the outside. It will take eight weeks to complete due to the length of time it takes to obtain silk and metal from a Mercedes-Benz. Due to the type of materials, time, and labor used to create my coffin it will cost $100,000. I created my coffin this way because I wanted it to be unique and beautiful like myself. I feel that a mango shaped coffin is probably something that you may have not created yet and I also wanted to present you with a challenge while being unique and amazing. I want my coffin to exude the lavish lifestyle I desired during my life but didn’t get to experience and show how unique of a person I truly am. I want my coffin’s viewers to also see my sense of style because I used a luxury car’s metal and a diamond because people seem to admire materialistic things. I also wanted it to communicate how I worked hard to get these material things that people highly desire.
