Organ Donation Paper
I was previously not a donor but after reading and watching the video I am defiantly going to be a donor. I didn't know that there were that many people in need of a donor. I can't believe how many people are waiting for donors to help them. This does also bring up the issues that you are messing with gods will but then again if you could live a life without any issues because you are part of a miracle from a donor that is a god given blessing all on its own. After watching the video on ksl.com “High Five” it touched my heart very much for the fact the Daren donated his organs when he died at the age of 30. Who knows how many lives he saved just by his selfless act to donated his organs that would other wise go to waste but instead he decided to save lives. I have two sisters and both of them are nurses and when they found out that I wasn't a donor on my learners permit they were very upset with me to say the least. They told me of how many families at the hospital were waiting for donors and how I could help save someones life. I thought nothing of this and blew it off. After reading these stories and watching these videos it made me realize how truthful they were when telling me those things. My eyes have been opened and I am defiantly going to change that “no” to a “yes”!!
