Dear RUAIRI FOX,

This email is confirmation that we have successfully received your Age Card application.

Please Note:

This is an automated service, if you have entered your personal details incorrectly they cannot be amended and you will need to re-apply and pay for your Age Card again.
Your Application Form will expire after 90 days (3 months) so it is important to bring your Application Form to be authenticated at the selected Garda Station within the time frame. After 90 days the form will no longer be valid and will not be processed. In this instance you will be required to reapply online and pay for your age card again.
You can keep track of your Application by entering your 6 digit Age Card number in the Track my Card section on www.agecard.ie
If you did not get an Age Card number please contact us

What happens Now:

A printed Application Form with the exact details you entered will arrive in the post, usually within 3 working days. Your age card number and an expiry date will also be printed on this form.
Insert your passport photo to the photo holder on the form, and bring this Application Form in person to your selected Garda Station for authentication - you will need photo ID (Birth Certificate, GNIB Card or a passport etc) and one other form of ID (Bank Card/Post Office Book/Student Card/Bank Statement etc). A Garda will check your details and complete the relevant sections of the application form and return the bottom section of your application form (section 4) to you as a receipt.
The Garda Station will send your authenticated Application Form for processing.
Your Age Card will arrive in the post, usually within 10 working days of authentication.
