Water Resource Challenges
Review Ch. 10 and 11 of your text, then complete the following:
I picked Point Source Pollution to discuss because this issue is only growing everyday day. People see it as a luxury to take cruise ships around the world or to ship everyday items by boats. The people who take these cruises or who work on these boats don’t consider where their waste is going or the damage the waste is causing once it hits the ocean. They also don’t consider that showers on these boats also create human waste along with trips to the restroom. In order for these problem to start to diminish then that would people would have to start show awareness for their actions. It would mean fewer trips for families and less items coming to United States by boat. Will this ever actually happen? I highly doubt in my lifetime that I will ever see this issue start to be resolved or for ways to decrease this problem. These issues may seem small to some but it is causing great problems for the animals and plants that thrive in the ocean not along with the fact that people enjoy going to the beaches and swimming in the oceans. I personally think that every American has probably contributed to this at one time or another whether by taking those cruise ships, working on the shipping boats, or swimming in the ocean and emptying your bladder while in there.
