I agree to this statement partially that the world of the future will be a woman’s world because as compared to the past, women in modern society have been increasingly active in all aspects ranging from political to home. They are capable in doing much more things than what they could in the past. One example is, in the past, it is the culture that people ten to think that guys rule the world and women’s respnsibility is only to be constrained at home. This is clearly reflected by the fact that rulers such as emperors are always men and not women. However, as the society modernises and people became more open, it was shown to be not the case. One example is Eunice Olsen. She is one of the nominated member of parliament in singapore and is currently the youngest member of parliament by the age of 27. This concludes that women are getting increasingly powerful in terms of their status in the society and can clearly be on par with any men. Therefore, i agree to the statement that the world of the future will be a woman’s world partially.
However, i think that we cannot suggest if the world of the future will be a woman’s or man’s world because competitiveness level are increasing and both genders are given equal opportunities to perform in all aspects of life. Even though woman may be stereotyped as the weaker sex, but this is not true because in the past, they were not given such opportunities. Therefore, there is no specific definition on whether the world of the future will be a woman or man’s world because the existence of both genders gives possibility to both sides and if there is no gender discrimmination, we cannot be sure of the world in future.
