What Is Harmony

What is harmony? Harmony is the pictures in which birds sing and flowers bloom, in which people live happily and work joyfully, and in which the global village enjoys peace and keeps prosperity.
Harmony is the spiritual core of contemporary society. However, there still exist many phenomena against harmony, just as what the above picture describes---a person with less social ethic is clamoring in the grand theatre when a film is on.
As a matter of face, every individual is the inevitable part of society, while social harmony is the representation of individual qualities.
Individual represents himself. One is not judged by his appearance but by his internal quality because no matter how much he lavishes on his appearance, he will still be looked upon down if he is bad-behaviored. One’s own name is the prestigious brand which costs one’s whole life to preserve. Behavior speaks louder than words. In order to establish such kind of brand, one needs cultivate oneself, broaden visions and expand knowledge so as to improve one’s whole quality.
Each individual, as a whole, represents the whole society, just as drops of water form the sea. Each one’s quality reflects the whole society’s quality. Anyone, who breaks the rules or disobeys the social ethic, will destroy the whole harmony. With the approaching of the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2010 World Expo, it is particularly vital to form a harmonious atmosphere in our nation.
The construction of social ethic is related with not only single one, but every one. Let’s work together to build up a harmonious society.
