I am a high school student seeking a career within the faculty of engineering and I believe Ohio State University has all the required facilities and advancements to make this dream a reality for me. It is one of the best universities in America known for its high academic standards and leadership programs. I see OSU as a university that will not merely transfer a certain amount of knowledge to me, but also help me develop intellectually and instill in me those qualities and capabilities which are of value for the welfare of the society.
One thing that really attracted me towards OSU is its diverse student body. It would be great to live, study or work among different nationalities. Moreover, the university offers co-op and internship programs that would give me hands-on experience in the career I want to pursue. In this ways, by the time I graduate, I would be confident enough to meet a number of employers and display my professional skills.
Chemical engineering majors basically deals with how to put chemicals to work. Throughout my school life, I found Chemistry to be one of the most interesting subjects. Dealing with chemicals has always been fascinating to me - the way different chemicals react differently to yield different products that have benefited the world today in so many ways. Looking through the facilities and opportunities OSU offers, I believe this is the best place to mould myself into something I really want to be. I am confident that graduating from OSU will help me cope up with the manifold demands of life.
