High school is a period of time that people either dearly miss or highly regret as they get older. People say to live it up and do everything you possibly can do within the years you have as a young adult because you are never going to get them back. This statement is completely true and almost to true for Sal and his friends. After planning a summer trip to Hawaii for graduation it finally was going to happen. Then the unexpected struck and no one was planning on this to occur.
Planning and getting everyone together and on board is probably the most stressful part about putting together a graduation trip. Its as if you get two people that are 100% ready and wanting to go, you get one who doesn’t want to and now all of a sudden those two kids are now contemplating to go or not. This wavering decision by the friends of Sal makes the overall success of this trip a lot more complicated than it needs to be. Sal finally got organized and really got to work on getting everyone together at the right time to go during our graduating summer. They talked about it daily until they knew the exact date of our departure. Sal wanted to accommodate everyone’s schedule and make it work with everyone’s graduation parties and what not. They finally did it! July 4th through the 8Th was the dates. The plan was to at first stay at a beach house that we have previously stayed in before, but that was not available at the time. Instead all 4 of us are staying at Sals aunts house. It was official, they were going and there was nothing stopping them. Sal, Robert, and Angel were on their way to complete and utter fun.
The time was here! They were finally leaving to Hawaii. It was a heavy, overcast; and mellow day at the airport considering it was four in the morning. With there blood pumping from pure excitement about their trip they boarded the plane. Sal sat by the window, Angel in the middle, and Robert on the outside. Everyone one had there eyes peeled...
