It is critical for a person to make educated sexual decisions in order to better the likelihood of an unwanted outcome from not taking place. Such as, the more a person is informed, the better they can make decisions for their sexuality. Being mature and older now I feel that I have established a positive value system when it comes to my sexuality therefore; I have the ability to make conscientious decisions when it comes to a sexual situation that I would become involved in. When a situation presents its self I customarily utilize my critical thinking skills before making an important sexual decision. I have been working on improving my critical thinking skills in the capacity on an ongoing basis and I have reached a point in which I can feel confident in my critical thinking abilities. When I was younger, I did not have the appropriate critical thinking skills to make well informed sexual decisions. I made poor choices that now as an adult I am able to make better decisions because of trial and error.
As a result from taking this course, I have discovered such a great deal of things pertaining to my sexuality and the process in which I choose to make my sexual decisions. I have found that I have the tendency to rationalize when it comes to my value system and analyze the potential outcomes prior to making decisions throughout my life. I try to analyze the situation from an outsider perspective and employ situations ethics. I have discovered that I am skeptical to things that I would have normally thought to just come easy for me to make a decision to make.
The most important value a person could have is the ability to have Sexual knowledge and critical thinking skills. This allows individuals to be ready for whatever situation that might be put forth and how we must react to the situation. Everyone has different ideas about their sexual...
