Students Should Receive a Laptop in Their Freshmen Year of High School
Students could use technology to benefit there education and, with this it would. Such as, this would help the student families. This could also help the school save money every year from having to update book or replace old ones. Not only that, but this would help keep the environment healthy
In addition these kids families would benefit because now and days teachers assign homework that must be typed and printed. Not many families have the money to pay for a computer, but with this students will now be able to learn what they need for the future without putting their families in dept. Also parents would probably agree that if this were available when they were in school they could of probably find a better job. The parents support this too like r. Carpenter/ mother of five “These are great. I could afford these for my children. I would have had to find another part time job to provide these computers.” So, the families will give the child everything they need without any harm to themselves.
Furthermore the school as I said would benefit greatly from this. They would not have to pay a large sum of money every year instead they would pay 1 payment because the old laptops from the seniors would delete all the old files and be given to the freshmen students after they pay their fees. The school would actually gain money by doing this. Not only that but, the schools that did do this would have more kids attending that school and not missing days because they will want to go to school that has a lot of technology. The teachers believe this too like Ms. Myles/ 2 yrs teaching experience “Not only is the work legible, it’s organized and accessible.” So, the schools will benefit a great deal from this.
In addition to this the environment would benefit greatly from this also because on average people use about 10000 sheets of paper per year. Now times that by about 4,500 kids we have at Curie...
