The Path of Dialogue leads organizations to synergy and wise decisions instead of defensiveness and costly decisions (Corporate Perspectives Inc). The Dialogue Path opens a safe environment where employees will contribute their strongest ideas. Communication barriers will no longer exist in a team environment. More time and effort will be the focus of your team. Your team should build a working relationship, and filter new ideas into their work. TEAM COMMUNICATION A team is a group of people who works together and builds an organization. Every team has a purpose and a goal to fulfill. Team members are individuals first, and they bring different talents, perspectives, values, and experiences to the work of the team (Berens, Ernst, Smith, 2004). Together, individuals can build with one another and create relationships. Teams just start off doing the work. If there is a discussion on the team’s goal and mission they are bound to be a successful team. Effective team work starts with understanding ourselves and ways we are different from others (Berens, Ernst, Smith, 2004). SENSORY DATA FEEDBACK These three communication skills combine to make one ability called feedback. In order to communicate with team members, there needs to be feedback. Criticism is a verbal or nonverbal process in which a team member shares his or her feelings or perceptions about team member’s behavior, action, or words (Interlinktc, 2008). Giving clear and concise feedback will allow team members to be successful. CONCLUSION Understanding communication is simple. We as human beings have to communicate in order to survive.
