INTRODUCTION:
For the analysis of the three structural lenses in the organizational behaviors I have chosen the Athletics Department of Lynchburg College. I will be focusing on the overall structure of the organization. The change in the organization that is forecasted for a certain time period, the changes that are implied and the problems arising due to the change are discussed. Then I will be analyzing the problems that the organization faces based on the three major lenses of the organization. Then the proposed solution will be stated at the end, with which the organization can do the change without the negative impacts that the change creates.

ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT OF LYCNHBURG COLLEGE:
The Athletics Department of Lynchburg consists of 7 administrative staffs, including the Department Director Dr. Jack M.Toms, followed by 4 athletic training staffs and a head coach for each of the team and varied number of assistant coaches and graduate assistant coaches. The department has a mission statement which is as follows:
 Lynchburg College places significance on the importance that athletics have on student-athletes rather than serve as an entertainment for spectators.  Thus, athletics at Lynchburg College seeks to strengthen the integration of goals and objectives with the goals and objectives of the academic area.  Student-athletes are to be fully integrated with other students.  Therefore, the academic success, physical, emotional and social developments are of vital importance.
The athletic program embraces the following seven college mission statements:
