Compare and Contrast Elementary School and College

College and elementary schools are both academic institution, both places a student must diligently learn to love and respect if they want to make the best out of their experiences there. However, elementary schools and college are world’s apart, both in terms of rules, academic culture and the overall student life experience. Hence, the change from elementary school to college, while pleasant-feeling and exciting, can also be very challenging. One feel as if college is a whole new world. The more prepared a student is to equipped to face the challenges and differences, the more successful they might be in the long run, because College and elementary school are different.

Elementary school and College are both educational grounds for a student to grow and enrich their lives with knowledge. Both academic institutions have capable and experienced teachers. Both places are full of experiences and filled with many memories. An individual graduate from high school and again in College with a degree. The government runs them. Both play an important role in making a person into a collected individual and a member of a society.

By law, it is necessary and to a certain extent, one is forced to attend elementary school. There are rules and rules which one cannot break, because there will be punishments for one’s actions. There is a time schedule which one has to go by. Within the of system and order, there is also a social structure, which one must maintain and live up to. This is helpful because a student at a young age learns the basic rules of work, and life, such as not to come to school late, and not to delay working. However, the main focus for most of the elementary school students is the acceptance of peers and be the popular one in a group, and not their intelligent duties.
