The Ancient Classical World and the Middle Ages had many heroic characters. From the time perspective, we cannot imagine any connection between the heroes of the ancient classical world and the middle ages. However, if we take a deeper look on (Use the preposition at instead of on in this sentence… a deeper look at their characters ….) their characters, or on the flow of those characters, we will be able to find some similarities between them. There are also differences between them, but (You could write but that could be attributed to the difference in the time period instead of I think.) I think that is because of the difference in the time period. While there are similarities and differences between those heroes, the concept of hero changes in each character. (If you notice, throughout this essay sometimes you wrote the Ancient Classical World and the Middle Ages with capital letters and sometimes you wrote them starting with small letters. It is important to be consistent throughout. Also sometimes you wrote Middle Ages and sometimes you wrote the Middle Ages. You need to write the word “the” before both these time periods. For example, write the Ancient Classical World and the Middle Ages.)
Starting with the Ancient Classical Period, the heroes that are described more often are Agamemnon, Hector, Achilles and Oedipus. They all are different types of heroes. Agamemnon was more like a traditional hero. He was a great warrior, had a family and he sacrificed his daughter to win the war. His wife killed him to avenge the killing of their daughter. He was in a war for a decade to save someone else’s wife. He sacrificed his daughter to achieve that. On the other hand, Hector was more like a family man who was fighting for his land and for his family. He was a man who loved him family; afraid of his wife becoming (a slave) slave or his son getting killed if he dies. However, he knew that as a warrior he must fight, leaving all this behind.
