Thesis: Marlo Thomas has influenced the world by keeping her fathers hospital running and helping cure children’s illnesses at no cost to them.
Introduction
“Give thanks for the healthy children in your life and give to those who aren’t.” this is the slogan for the Thanks and Giving campaign created to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital by Marlo Thomas. The Childrens Hospital was created by Marlo’s father in 1962 after placing money in the offering plate at the church and praying to St. Jude "I need that back, times ten, tomorrow. If you give me a sign, one day I will build a shrine in your honor."

I. Marlo Thomas is an “out spoken feminist” and an award winning actress according to the Huffington Post.
a. She starred in the tv show “It Girl” and the movie “LOL” and “Nobodys Child”
b. She has won four Emmy Awards, the Peabody, a Golden Globe, a Grammy and has been put into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
II. After her fathers death she took on the roll of National Outreach Director.
c. She brings in award winning performers for benefits to raise money to fund the hospital.
d. Her father made a promise to help those who were less fortunate and now that he is gone it is Marlos job to make sure that promise is fulfilled.
Conclusion
