* Introduction
The Quran and Hadith (the prophet’s speeches) have been the constitution for Muslims ever since prophet Mohamed descended. For the past millennium and a half, God has been able to protect his holy book from any type of destruction or manipulation. This is why God compels Muslims to refer to the Quran and Hadith for any clarification regarding everything they encounter in pre and post life. God Said in The holy Quran “those who make mischief in the earth, theirs is the curse” (Surah ar-R’ad 25); thus, any attempt of misusing the Quran and God’s words will be punished whether in life or after death. In the past decades, the world has suffered from terroristic actions. Some of those actions are held under the name of “Jihad” meaning to fight in the name of God. Islam, as any other religion, is brought onto people with a notion full of idealism and peace. Terror on the other hand, promotes violence, hatred, and suffering. So how are terrorism and Islam related to each other? Much of what western societies comprehend about Islam comes from the news; hence, the media is a significant factor in determining whether or not Islam endorses terrorism. Western societies are under the belief that terrorists perform their actions only because the Islamic religion requires them to. The Islamic religion is misinterpreted and misunderstood as violent and conniving. Our topic discusses the beneficial aspects of this religion and how it is not related to the acts of terrorism taking place by providing some examples from the prophet’s period as compelling evidences for our claim.

* How the West View Islam
Terrorism is not restricted to Muslims only, let alone Muslims at all; it is situated in every other religion. So why does the media situate the word Islam with terrorism?
