The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others

The way you treat yourself sets the standard for others – it is a quotation of Sonya Friedman, a teleshow star and I agree with these words. How can we explain these words? It just means: “The way you treat yourself, makes others treat you the same way.” If you treat yourself with respect, others will treat you with that same respect. But it doesn’t mean that every one will treat you in that way. There are people who don’t like you and try to damage you. If you have low self-esteem, you shouldn’t expect others to think highly of you. But if your self-esteem is high and you appreciate yourself you will not let others treat you badly, you will avoid them. You may behave the way to earn the respect of others. It is like the Golden Rule:” Treat others as you want to be treated”. We recognize and accept the Golden Rule as the clearest expression of God’s moral law for human behavior. The immediate result of the following Golden Rule is that you will treat other people very very well. As well as you would like to be treated. The topic quote is the same thing although these words were said by a common woman not by God the sense of the words is truthful. Because if a person sees that you don’t let others treat you badly of offend you he will respect you. His attitude to you will be sincerely friendly. Love yourself, respect yourself, be yourself but don’t become a selfish one. Share your love, your kindness, and remember people will only treat you as carefully and with as much respect as you treat yourself.
