A. Mini tablets, such as the iPad mini, Google Nexus 7, or Amazon Kindle Fire, are in the growth stage at the moment. The concept of having a tablet larger than a smart phone but smaller than a full-sized tablet (such as an iPad) is relatively new, and companies such as Amazon and Apple are in the stage where they are attempting to convince users to switch use them. While Apple has often been a market leader in innovations, it has lagged behind in the case of mini tablets, and this may cause it lose out on market leader status and instead play catch up.
